Ring a Ring a Roses
I don't know where the last week has gone!
Tomorrow I am demonstrating at the local museum's Country Fair alongside a friend from the Bedfordshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers. In hopes of making a few sales I have been making brooches with my hand-dyed, hand-spun silk and putting together a selection of my braiding kits. The 'roses' in the top picture are knitted (My favourite at the moment because I haven't made any before) and the other 'fantasy flowers' are all crocheted, as are the leaves for both.
We will be displaying pictures and information about the guild - 30 years old now - in the hope of creating interest and new members.
I hope the weather will improve so people can enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend.
Happy Easter Everyone!

I hope you and your friend had a lovely day yesterday Maggie and that it proved to be successful. I love the brooches, the colours of your yarns are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteReading back through your posts I realised I haven't let you know that I couldn't have a go at the template you kindly left on the GG chat group. For some reason my computer wouldn't download it. I also had the same problem with the Guild Member logo so the problem is definitely at my end not yours. I was quite disappointed that I couldn't try it out.
